Inside Doug's Head

I am not a number, I am… What's that stuff they make glue out of? I'm that. Forever swirling, forwards and upwards, but always sticky. Sometimes, a little sad.

So, when was the last time time someone with an American accent called to tell you that you owe the IRS $6931.45? Yeah, me either.

I wonder where they get our personal information. Could it be that the same outsourced call centers that handle customer support for American internet service providers earn extra cash through prosecutorial fear based scams? They get so impatient when you ask them follow up questions. Maybe it’s the accent. “Please verify me your credit card number.”
