Inside Doug's Head

I am not a number, I am… What's that stuff they make glue out of? I'm that. Forever swirling, forwards and upwards, but always sticky. Sometimes, a little sad.

Thirty years ago I was promised that the current volume of miscarriages and abortions would provide humanity with all of the stem cells we would require to support us in our geriatric years. I was all in favor, as were the Clintons, Bushes, et al.

Fast forward some amount of time. My actual vision is blurry. Either that, or they have started using the Times New Blurry font on all of the political memes and menus of my favorite restaurants. My phone. It too is blurry. Fuzzy, if you will. The +2.5 readers are just not cutting it.

Three decades ago, I was promised drops that would correct my old man eye sight. I voted for them, and I supported the required atrocities to make them a present day reality. Where my stem cells at? Politico?

Government sucks. They promise stuff, and they lie to you to get what they want. 87,000 more IRS agents. Doesn’t seem like they have been focusing very much on innovative cancer research.
