It is never too late to become wise.

Uggh. Sometimes, life’s little realities can be difficult to accept. I am very much a fan of the sedentary lifestyle; however, it does have its drawbacks. Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting abandoning it, for it has served me well. No, I am aware of too many anecdotes of athletic types in their 20s and 30s who are already on their second or third hip, knee, or shoulder surgeries as a result of mishaps from their sporting misadventures. Such injuries also come along with lengthy recovery and physiotherapy timelines that make a sedentary life a wiser choice. Notwithstanding a heart attack in 2013 that required the installation of four stents, which was totally unrelated to lifestyle choices, the sedentary life has never done me any harm.

Wow! I am so dumb! I only just now figured out that the initialism ‘AI’ stands for artificial intelligence, which is a topic where some computers, and apparently a lot of people, pretend like they are smart. I thought it meant artificial insemination, and I couldn’t figure out why more people were not upset about the blatant perversions of nature that were obviously taking place. Continue reading

My knees hurt because I am overweight. Not so overweight that I leave potholes in the sidewalk, but heavy enough that the bones in my feeble limbs feel the effects of the extra pull of gravity. Now, I could stop drinking and lose some weight, or I should drink more and stop complaining. Meh, drinking is easier; I’ve made my choice and I’m sticking with it. Cheers!
