Sometimes, if you look at life from just the right angle, what you see is a lot of shoes and feet. That’s because you’ve fallen over and people are stepping on you. You should get up; the sidewalk is not a great place to sleep. It’s all a matter of perspective. Too much perspective. And whiskey.

If you start with something bland, add something not good, and dilute those with a third thing that is usually perfectly fine except when combined with either of the first two things, the result can be something that tastes pretty awful.
